We all have (or had) a favorite local boutique, the one you have known forever and can always find a wonderful, unique gift or a fun splurge for yourself. It is that place where the whole shopping experience makes you feel good afterwards. The reality these days is that our favorite little boutiques are disappearing because malls and mass merchants have made it difficult for them to compete.I created The Surprise Inside out of a desire to re-create that wonderful local boutique where you know the owner, love the products and know you will be well taken care of. We are the "shop around the corner". My days are filled with calls from folks all over the country looking for a special gift to give and they either can't find it, or don't know where to start. I spend a good deal of time making calls trying to track down just the right thing for each person. Some may say "Why bother?" The answer is simple: there is a lot of fun and satisfaction to be found in giving a great gift - almost as much as getting it! Our mission is to help people be great gift givers. Spend your money wisely, feel great and make someone happy - it is a win-win-win.
Our blog will be filled with creative gift ideas, news about clever finds we have made, and ideas that will be useful for new moms, new dads and the people in their lives. We will also keep you up to date on product saftey recalls in the wake of the recent flood of toy recalls in the news.
