It is a whimsical name, Woof & Poof, and for some people it generates a confused look and for others their face lights up, like mine does. I LOVE Woof & Poofs. They are beautifully made, creatively designed holiday collectibles that are actually manufactured here in the United States. 

My father used to have a Christmas party every year. It was a small affair with close family and friends, great food and carol singing. Yes, really - carol singing.  It was one of his favorite things to do because it had all the ingredients - family, fun, happiness and singing.  He had a knack for finding beautiful, unique gifts, particularly at Christmas time. One year he happened upon a Woof & Poof Santa at a small boutique near his house, and it became as much a part of the holiday tradition as the carol singing.  Though my dad passed away 5 years ago, bringing out the Woof & Poof Santa each season brings me right back to those great Christmas parties and what I consider the true warmth of the season.

When I opened my own store, it was a given that I would sell Woof & Poofs. When the box arrives with all of the Woof & Poofs in it, it is like Christmas to me as I open it up and look at each one.  I have discovered there is a community of Woof & Poof collectors all across the country, who look forward to them each year with as much excitement as I do. I look forward to hearing from our Woof & Poof customers year after year and feel like we have become an important part of helping their holiday traditions grow. When I send the Woof & Poofs off to customers, I feel like Santa sending wonderful gifts out of his sleigh, knowing that someone on the other end is going to be thrilled to get it and start a new tradition of their own. And THAT is what makes it all worthwhile.
